Background
Denise has worked as a Management & Personal Development Trainer and Consultant since 1990 in both the public and private sectors. Working within teams and departments, Denise has assessed and delivered an extensive range of training and management programmes and initiatives.
As an accredited counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), Denise has worked with clients on a one-to-one basis since 1995 covering such topics as: Stress, anxiety, bereavement, loss, bullying and harassment, abuse/sexual abuse, post traumatic stress and working within organisations.
Her counselling experience also extends to: Managing an occupational health counselling service, managing a private practice and supervision of other counsellors.

- Investigation into Sources and Levels of Organisational Stress. Policy development and implementation. Training for Managers and Staff in Risk Assessment in the H.S.E. Stress Management Standards.
- Training Consultant and Train the Trainer training for The Suzy Lamplugh Trust providing training and consultancy to: private companies, local authorities, charities, housing associations, local communities and conference delegates.
- Programme manager for local authority in-house MBA Programme in conjunction with Wolverhampton University.
- Training & Assessment for NVQ Candidates at levels 3 & 4 Management Development.
- Working with Middle Management on competencies and development/assessment centres for managers.
- Writing and submission of tenders.
