Ida Bentley I first met Denise in 1996, this was my first year of teaching counselling and Denise was one of 22 students on the course completing her Certificate in Counselling. Denise made a great impact on the group and contributed well to the course, in terms of her knowledge, skill, experience and personality. For me she was certainly a rising star. My other employment is with Walsall Council where I was tasked with setting up a listening ear scheme for staff. The scheme extended to appointing external counsellors and Denise was one of the people I recommended. Feedback from clients who used the service was regularly sought, with feedback in respect of the service provided by Denise was consistently good, without exception. Indeed over the years I have referred a number of clients to Denise in the certain knowledge she would offer a high quality, ethical service. Denise is committed to her continual professional development and regularly attends conferences and training session. As well as providing counselling she also provides training which provides her with a different context in which to ensure that her knowledge and skills are up to date. I have always regarded Denise as a deeply sensitive, caring, gentle human being who reflects on her practice. She has good self-awareness; understanding her level of skill and competence and will not stray outside of this boundary without appropriate training. Whether you wish to use Denise as a counsellor, trainer or supervisor rest assured you will receive a very good service. |
